Megan I. Armor, DVM Dr. Armor received her bachelors degree magna cum laude in biochemistry and cell biology from U.C. San Diego in 1998. After working in biotechnology for 1 year, she spent the next few years working as a veterinary technician before returning to medical school at U.C. Davis and graduating with honors in 2006. She came to Groveway soon after graduation and has been with us ever since. She shares her home with a labrador retriever, a german shepherd, an orange tabby, and 2 fish tanks. When not working, Dr. Armor can be found snowboarding in the winter months, or wakeboarding and playing golf in the summer. She volunteers her time spaying and neutering feral cats every other month with Tri Valley Fix Our Ferals. Karen D. Harper, DVM University of California Davis 2001 Bettina E. Dr. Leaper received his B.S. in Biology from U.C. Irvine in 2002. Following completion of school he worked as laboratory technician in the endocrinology department for Quest Diagnostics for almost 2 years. He married his wife, Teresa, in the summer of 2003. While on their honeymoon they fell in love with New Zealand and applied to the veterinary program. He was accepted into the AVMA accrediated program at Massey University and graduated in December 2008. Living in the bay area with his lovely wife Teresa (a veterinary technician), they have 4 dogs (2 german shepards, a yellow lab/vizla cross and a golden retriever/irish setter cross) and 2 cats (1 Orange Bengal cross and 1 British Blue cross). In his spare time Dr. Leaper enjoys spending time with his family, taking the dogs to the lake or beach and home renovation. |
